What counts as a publication?

Each book or audiobook you add to your library uses one of that cycle's publications, and within it you can run every tool as often as you need. Your library keeps everything you add — the monthly number is how many new publications you can bring in, and it renews each billing cycle (on your subscription date, or your sign-up date on the included plan). Deleting a publication does not give back that cycle's allowance.

Do I need to be a publica.la customer?

No. Anyone can sign up at the general-public price. publica.la customers with an active store (Growth plan or above) get preferential pricing.

How does the Starter trial work?

Starter includes a 15-day free trial with full access: 2 new publications and every tool, exactly like the paid plan.

Can I change plans later?
